Cavan Ang

There was a boy who liked making things up.
Stories. Ideas. Campaigns. Mostly things that probably shouldn’t have worked.
His name was Cavan Ang — Kay-Ven, if you were wondering.

He grew up to become a Creative Director and Copywriter, spending over a decade turning blank pages into ideas that made people laugh, think, feel and occasionally win awards.

For several years, he was ranked among Malaysia’s Top 10 most awarded creatives, with work recognised by Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Kancil, AdFest, AdStars, Effies and more.

Then, after years of building other people’s brands, he decided to build something of his own.

So he built castles. In the sky….

Welcome: Castles In The Sky!

A place for ideas that start with: “What if?”

And someone brave enough to say: “Why not?”

YAO DING

There was a boy who liked to draw. He liked making things look good.

Then he grew up and discovered that, apparently, this could be a career.

So he became a Creative Director and Art Director.
For 15 years, Yao Ding has wandered through the world of advertising, sharpening his craft across agencies including Leo Burnett, JWT, Lowe & Partners and Mediabrands Content Studio. Along the way, he has worked with brands like Samsung, Coca-Cola, Shell, HSBC, Nestlé, Ford, Malaysia Airlines, Milo, Grab and OPPO.

A few people noticed. A few awards followed including recognition from Spikes Asia, Kancils, MARKies and MELBA Dubai. But after 15 years of helping build other people’s brands, he decided it was time to build something of his own — Castles In The Sky.

Because great advertising isn’t just about making something look good.

It’s about making something matter.

And this is only the beginning.

The story continues…
